– Organic apples
– 1 cup nut butter (cashew, almond, pecan)
– 1 cup brown rice syrup
– 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
– Optional toppings: chia seeds, crushed pecans, coconut flakes.
Gently heat the nut butter and brown rice syrup over low to medium heat until smooth and caramel-like. Place wooden skewer in top of apple and swirl in warm mixture, spooning over the top if desired, until coated. Move to a plate or piece of parchment paper to cool.
