Brain Booster Burrito

It has been proven that there are 10 essential nutrients needed for the brain to, not only function, but to help reverse diseases like MS, Parkinson’s and even Alzheimer’s. These nutrients are:

1 piece Nori (sushi seaweed wrapper) [Iodine]

1/2 avocado [Omega-3]

1 organic free-range egg [B9, B12, Vitamin D]

1/4 onion sliced [Sulfur]

1/4 cup spinach [B6]

1/4 cup purple cabbage shredded [Magnesium/Antioxidants]

1/2 carrot shredded (optional)

1 tbsp. sesame oil [CoQ10]

dash of wheat-free tamari (optional)

Heat oil in pan over medium heat and gently sauté onion, spinach and cabbage until soft. Skootch veggies to the side and crack the egg in the pan, toss gently to scramble and turn heat off. Allow egg to just barely cook through in order to retain the nutrients. Lay the nori sheet out and place the cabbage/onion/spinach mixture along the center and then add the egg alongside. Add the carrot and the avocado and a dash of tamari (if desired) and roll up like a burrito. Top with home-made “rooster” sauce and enjoy!

1 cup kefir (plain unsweetened) [B12, Iodine, Vitamin D]

1 cup frozen organic strawberries [CoQ10, Antioxidants, Iodine]

2 tbsp. chia seeds [Omega-3]

2-3 large leaves purple cabbage [Sulfur/Magnesium]

1/2 banana [B6]

1 tbsp. sunflower seeds or sunflower seed butter [B9]

Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender and enjoy!
